2023 Jeep Renegade Overview
The Renegade stands apart from all other subcompact crossovers. It is fun to drive, has distinctive visual appeal and offers you true off-road capabilities, which is otherwise unheard of in this segment. The 2023 Jeep Renegade has arrived at Brad Deery Motors and is now available to test-drive, buy and lease, and Jeep has opted to make some rather big changes. The biggest is to eliminate the front drive layout and focus on the Compass exclusively as an all-wheel-drive crossover. With that decision, it made sense to retire the Sport and to reduce the Renegade lineup to three core trim levels.
Latitude Trim
With the Sport discontinued, the Latitude takes its place as the base option among the 2023 Jeep Renegade trim levels. All models have a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 177 horsepower and 210 pound-feet of torque. Jeep pairs that engine to a sophisticated nine-speed automatic transmission that distributes power to all four wheels. The Latitude has automatic headlamps, fog lamps, heated exterior mirrors and 17-inch aluminum wheels. It comes with keyless entry, push-button start and remote ignition, and the cabin has cloth upholstery, air conditioning, front bucket seats, a fold-flat front passenger seat, a 60/40-split folding rear bench, an 8.4-inch touchscreen with navigation, a six-speaker sound system with satellite radio and a removable cargo floor. Standard driver-assistance technologies include frontal automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure mitigation and trailer sway damping. An optional Class III trailering package is available that lets you tow up to 2,000 pounds.
Altitude Trim
The Altitude is equipped like the Latitude plus its optional Premium Group plus the Altitude appearance package and premium cloth upholstery. The appearance package adds gloss-black exterior accents and black-painted 18-inch wheels. The Premium Group adds 40/20/40-split folding rear seating, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, a household-style power outlet, rain-sensing windshield wipers with a de-icer, fog lamps and roof rails. With both the Latitude and Altitude, you have the option of a Sun and Sound Group that adds a panoramic sunroof and a nine-speaker Kenwood audio system.
Limited Trim
The Limited is the luxury option among the 2023 Jeep Renegade trim levels available at Brad Deery Motors. Its base is the Altitude minus the Altitude appearance package. It adds 18-inch wheels, and it upgrades the cabin with genuine leather upholstery. A Sun, Sound and Wheels Group package adds the Sun and Sound Group mentioned earlier plus 19-inch wheels. A Luxury Group adds LED headlamps, intelligent cruise control, rear parking sensors with automatic braking and automated parking.
Trailhawk Trim
The Trailhawk is the most off-road-capable 2023 Jeep Renegade. Its equipment base is the Altitude minus the Altitude appearance package. It has 17-inch wheel with all-terrain tires and an exclusive exterior appearance package, including a matte black hood decal. It has an exclusive interior appearance package as well, and the notable mechanical upgrades include a raised suspension, front and rear tow hooks, underbody skid plates and hill descent control.
Other Trim Levels
There are no other core trim levels available for the Renegade, but Jeep is offering a (RED) edition that is exclusive to this model year. It is similar to the Altitude but has a (RED) appearance package instead. (RED) partners with global brands to build better pandemic defense mechanisms, and some of the money used to purchase or lease this model goes toward that effort.
